Versions
| Component | Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| OpenClaw | 2026.8.1, branded "OpenClaw 2.0" |
Releases use a vYYYY.M.D scheme — "2.0" is marketing, not a version you can install (see below) |
| Node.js | 24.x LTS | engines: >=22.22.3 <23 || >=24.15.0 <25 || >=25.9.0. The package preinstall aborts on an out-of-range Node |
| signal-cli | >= 0.14.5 — hard floor | Requires Java 25+. Below 0.14.5 every inbound 1:1 message is silently discarded (see note below). On arm64 there is no usable native libsignal — run signal-cli from the bbernhard/signal-cli-rest-api container (0.100+ ships 0.14.5) |
| Tailscale | Latest stable | Free Personal plan (3 users, 100 devices). Serve = free. Funnel = Premium only ($18/user/mo) |
| Ollama | Latest stable | Native ARM64 support. CPU-only unless the server has a GPU |
| Caddy | Latest stable | Alternative to Tailscale for HTTPS reverse proxy |
| Ubuntu | 24.04 LTS | Recommended OS (works on any provider or local machine) |
