What it is
A knowledge base is a collection of documents that Genies answer from, such as a return policy, a product catalog or a manual. Each document is made from one file of the workspace. Stacksync reads the file, splits it into chunks and indexes them; a document is ready once its processing status says so.
A knowledge base lives in one region, besg (Europe) or usnv (United States). Its files are
in the same region, and only Genies of that region can use it. It is shared with the workspace
or private to the person who created it.
When a Genie handles a message, it searches its knowledge bases for the passages that match the
request and answers from them, following the instructions its knowledge_bases entry gives for
each knowledge base.
