macOS Design
Selection boundary. Automatic selection supplies design and material policy only. Prototype or artifact writes need task authorization; blessing requires the user's live sign-off. Freeze, capture, and production mutation remain separately authorized work owned by their corresponding stages.
Agent output fails on macOS when the interface is styled before it is
structured, and no design file is authoritative for Liquid Glass — the
operating system is: the only honest proof of an approved design is the
design running, from fixtures, signed off live. It produces the preference
system and the runnable prototype proving it, and carries the Liquid Glass
material authority. Of the family's four stages — design, bless,
freeze, audit — it owns design and bless (the material only exists at
runtime); freeze belongs to tailrocks-macos-visual-baseline, current-render
verification to tailrocks-macos-visual-qa, and implementation comparison to
tailrocks-macos-visual-regression; independent taste review remains
tailrocks-macos-design-review, and
tailrocks-plan refuses a screen contract with no blessed reference.
