When to Use

Use for one named bug in the current local codebase when a reviewer needs a local patch commit, independent proof, regression check, and local review reports. See the record contract before creating the run directory.

When NOT to Use

Use regression-hunt to discover bugs in an unfamiliar change. Do not use this skill for a remote deployment or a batch of bugs.

Workflow

During preflight, before the first build, pin the baseline SHA and read root guidance from its Git objects. Save present files and absences under guidance/<baseline-SHA>/ outside the target tree; verify them before each handoff. Confirm regression-hunt passes root guidance to its agents.
