Self review

Your task is to review a code change you just wrote, and improve your work with the review feedback. The goal is to meaningfully improve the quality of code that was generated autonomously, reducing the burden on a human code review to find all faults. Ideally, your review-improved change can be merged by a human with only a cursory manual review and little to no additional changes.

Project-specific review rules

Some projects keep their own review guidance; many have none. Look for REVIEW.md and GITLAB-REVIEW.md in the repo root, and for a section about code review in AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md. If you find nothing, skip the rest of this section and use the quality dimensions below as they are.

If you find rules, skip those about process (who reviews, how to label); only rules about the code apply. Merge the remaining rules into the quality dimensions below before you brief the sub-agent, so it receives one checklist without contradictions:
