Database dependency migration
Review the user's sources with the agent's file-reading and search tools. Normal skill use requires no Node.js, pnpm, package installation, build or database server. Keep reports in the user's workspace.
Default source review
For a small conceptual question, answer directly. For a dependency or migration review, read source analysis and the relevant dependency semantics or migration risks.
- Establish the baseline, proposed changes, migration order and available application sources. Missing inputs reduce coverage; continue with useful partial analysis.
- Read declarations and consumers. Follow physical database names through explicit ORM mappings to property uses. Start with EF Core migrations and C# consumers, then Prisma and TypeORM when present. Search matches are candidates, not confirmed dependencies.
- Track supported sequential changes in a written schema ledger. Mark unsupported transformations and any dependent later conclusions UNKNOWN. This is a manual review, not engine replay or proof of execution.
- Return a source-cited Markdown review using the report outline: affected objects and consumers, dependency paths, high-risk findings, assumptions, unresolved dependencies and a review-only phase plan. Add Mermaid when it clarifies the paths. For a PR, include a concise comment-ready summary; publish only when requested.
Label direct manual inspection SOURCE_READ in the review prose. Reserve OBSERVED for catalog evidence and PARSED for parser-backed evidence; use INFERRED for hypotheses and UNKNOWN for gaps. SOURCE_READ is a prose label, not a new canonical model enum. Never fabricate a validated *.dbdep.json model, parser result, catalog fact or completeness claim from manual reading.
Optional deterministic toolkit
Use the bundled toolkit when available and useful, or when the user requests validated JSON or an interactive HTML explorer. Read toolkit usage for setup and commands. If dependencies are missing, deliver the source review and state which requested machine artifacts remain unavailable. Do not require installation to start or complete a source review.
