A concrete security risk exists in checkUrl(): untrusted HTTP(S) URLs are fetched with redirects and without private-network/localhost restrictions, enabling SSRF in deployments processing attacker-controlled candidate data. The configurable project root and spawned helper tools also require trusted invocation.
