The price of no bundler, stated once

AssetMapper serves your files as ES modules with an import map. There is no compilation step, so there is no JSX, no Vue or Svelte single-file components, no TypeScript, no advanced transpilation, and no tree-shaking of a dependency you only use a corner of.
