Figure Audit

Use this skill after creating or revising a scientific figure.

Check

• Variable name and units are visible.
• Period, season, or sample definition is visible.
• Method tag is visible when relevant.
• Axes, colorbars, legends, and labels are readable.
• Multi-panel spacing is balanced.
• Text does not overlap plotted data or other labels.
• Color choices are interpretable and accessible.
• PNG and PDF outputs exist when requested.

Output

Give a score out of 100 and list the most important fixes first. If the score is below the requested threshold, revise the figure before delivery.
