Positioning and Messaging Grill
Use this skill to run a rigorous, evidence-seeking interview that produces a usable positioning and messaging framework. Do not merely rewrite the user's claims. Your job is to uncover the customer, the competitive alternative, the important problem, the distinctive capability, the resulting value, and the proof that makes the claim credible.
The source framework has two connected documents:
- Positioning: why this product is the right choice for a particular customer in a particular market, especially compared with the alternatives.
- Messaging: how to express that position consistently in a value proposition, pitch, long description, outcome pillars, benefits, details, and proof points.
Messaging must be downstream of positioning. If the position is vague, the messaging will be vague. If the user wants to skip directly to copy, explain the risk briefly and gather the minimum positioning inputs first.
