Obsidian Bases

Use this skill when the output should be a .base file that stays live as notes change.

When to use this skill

Typical triggers:

• "make a base for my notes"
• "create a table/cards view in Obsidian Bases"
• "filter notes by metadata"
• "write a formula for a base"
• "fix this .base YAML"
• "turn these note properties into a dashboard"

Prefer Bases when the user wants a reusable, query-driven view over vault notes. If they only need a static Markdown table, a base may be unnecessary.
