Visitor identification
The outcome
Every company whose people read your website lands in a Cargo model, with the pages they read and where they came from, and stays current without anyone running anything. It is company-level: an IP address resolved to an organisation, never a named person, and nothing is sent to anyone.
Three pieces make it:
- A companies model.
fetchOrganisationson Snitcher, through Cargo's credits. Creating it provisions a Snitcher workspace for the site and writes the tracker's snippet and workspace into the model's config. - A sessions model.
fetchSessionsreads the workspace the companies model provisioned,visitingCompanies.config._workspaceUuid, in the same deploy. - A consent gate on the site. The website app receives the snippet as an env token,
visitingCompanies.config._trackingScript, keeps only its public profile ID, and loads Snitcher with its own reviewed settings once a visitor accepts. Before that, nothing loads.
