The code implements a plausible local approval-ledger hook and contains no evident malware or unauthorized network behavior. However, using the unvalidated session_id in filesystem paths creates a path traversal/path injection risk that can redirect reads, writes, and truncation outside the intended state directory. Validate the session identifier against a strict safe-character allowlist or derive a safe encoded filename before performing filesystem operations.
