The code is intended as a local model-reference migration utility. It contains no clear malicious behavior or supply-chain indicators. However, the regex is incorrect because it does not use old_model, and the recursive in-place rewriting can corrupt or unintentionally modify many Python files. The script should construct an escaped, model-specific regex, restrict the file scope, handle errors, and validate or back up files before writing.
